Courage
The Mexican Cricket Association exists to promote and develop the game of cricket in Mexico.

Provides a home for residents and visitors from many cricketing nations around the world to play and enrich the game in Mexico. From this base, it seeks to instill a passion for the game among a growing number of the Mexican population.
Both objectives are fundamental to the Association's mission as it seeks to develop cricket in Mexico. They are intertwined and inseparable.

The Association serves as a permanent reference to the history of cricket and is dedicated to upholding the game in the Spirit upon which it was founded. The Spirit of Cricket forms the second section of our Charter.
We celebrate the fact that cricket has been played in Mexico since the 1820s. We pay special tribute to our oldest club, the Mexico City Cricket Club, and are committed to ensuring it never dissolves.

We are forever grateful for the home provided for our game by The Reforma Athletic Club.

We pledge to build the strongest bond with the custodians of the Game at the institutional level, the International Cricket Council (ICC), of which we are an affiliated member, as well as with other institutional supporters, in Mexico and abroad.
We acknowledge the growing interest in the sport across Latin America and seek to participate in forums and tournaments with the intent of fostering participation and friendship throughout the region.

We delight in and encourage the infusion of Latin flavor into the approach to the game.
We support the spread of cricket across the country and recognize the importance of expanding the player base, creating a new generation of individuals who play and follow cricket with a passion that can carry the game forward.
Our ideal is to field regionally competitive national teams for women, men, girls, and boys. We aspire for these teams to be composed entirely of Mexican nationals and aim to expose exceptional athletes to higher levels of competition whenever possible.

We embrace diversity and disability. We are determined to foster a national competition consisting of teams with diverse cultures and abilities. This principle will guide us in team selection, match and tournament development, and training practices.

We recognize the importance of celebrating the game beyond the call of the stumps. We welcome those who support the game: families, audiences, authorities, and many others who enjoy it.

The governance of the game will be led by the Committee of the Mexican Cricket Federation. The Committee's decision-making will be based on the contents of this Charter. Our Chairperson is first among equals.

We are stronger when we reflect the society to which we belong.
Gratitude
The Reforma Athletic Club in Naucalpan de Juárez has been the home of Mexican cricket since 1894 and the champion of the sport in the Country for over 125 years. The Reforma Athletic Club has one of the highest turf wickets in the world and is a regular host of international cricket tournaments. The hallowed turf has been graced by some of the greats of the game, such as Fred Trueman, and is regularly visited by the Marylebone Cricket Club.
We are thankful and appreciative of The Reforma Athletic Club’s constant support for Mexico
Cricket.
