What is cricket?
It is a sport of strategy, skill and teamwork, known to be one of the most popular worldwide. It is played between two teams of 11 players on an oval field, with a central area called “pitch”, where the key plays take place.
Objective
The main objective is to score more runs than the opposing team. One team bats to score runs while the other team pitches and defends to prevent them from scoring, exchanging roles after completing an innings. The action revolves around the batsman, the pitcher and the wickets (three upright stakes), with exciting plays that can change the course of the game at any moment.

With rules that combine precision and creativity, cricket is distinguished by its tactical richness, promoting values such as respect, patience and sportsmanship.
Modalities
-
Test Cricket - 5 days (11 vs 11 people in each team)
-
ODI - 1 day - 7 to 8 hrs (11 vs 11 people in each team)
-
Twenty20 - approx 3 hours (11 vs 11 people in each team)
-
Modified Cricket - adapts in terms of space size, number of people playing, duration, rules etc.

The modified format is the most widespread in non-cricketing countries and is the one we promote in Mexico for the initial levels and social projects. This allows us to be more inclusive by having the possibility of including several people regardless of their characteristics, and adapting the sport and playing conditions to the circumstances of the environment (space, time, number of people, material, resources, etc.).
